SWING CHARTS

INTRODUCTION

This part of the website deals only with the swing chart status of the FTSE index, the Dow Jones index and the NASDAQ index.
As demonstrated in the book, it is entirely possible to swing trade successfully using only swing charts, but it is not the recommended course. I recommend using point & figure charts in conjunction with swing charts, but viewers could use their own favourite techniques in conjunction with swing charts. This part of the website does not deal with any of the other techniques, and accordingly it should not be viewed as a trading tool.

The next page will not be updated in real time. It will be updated every night. That sounds grander than it really is. On average, the charts generate about 20-22 swing chart signals a year. It follows that most nights there will be no change.

This part of the website is intended to be an educational adjunct to the book. Although swing charts are in fact easy to use, the rules are detailed, and some readers may have doubts about the current position. The next page should help them to understand how I apply my modifications to the standard Gann swing chart.

If you are ready to blame anyone else for your losses (other than in cases of fraud), you shouldn’t be trading the markets.
I accept no liability for any losses howsoever caused. You read the next page, and indeed, this whole website at your own risk.
